This Week's Update: The State of the State: COVID-19 Q and A with the Governor's Office, DOL, and DOH
Guest Speakers:
- Deborah Cornavaca, Deputy Chief of Staff, Governor Murphy's Office
- Justin Baker, Chief of Occupational Health for the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development for 16 years. Justin began working at NJDOL as a PEOSH Compliance Officer and later as an Occupational Health Consultant. Following five years in the field Justin advanced to the role of Assistant Chief of Safety prior to his current position as Chief of Occupational Health.
- Gillian (Jill) Gutierrez is the Director of Strategic Planning and Outreach for the New Jersey Department of Labor & Workforce Development. She focuses on incorporating worker experience into the implementation of NJDOL programs and departments. Jill previously served at the U.S. Department of Labor for over a decade.
Also on the line to answer questions will be Gary Centifonti, Director of Consumer Environmental Occupational Health, New Jersey Department of Health and Christine Blumauer, Policy Advisor in the Commissioner’s Office with the New Jersey Department of Labor & Workforce Development.
