Through the NJ COVID-19 Awareness and Prevention Training, employers, workers, and worker representatives will gain knowledge through participatory training sessions to reduce the risks of exposure to the COVID-19 in the workplace.
The training will include NJ employers' obligations to workers as it relates to COVID-19 and employee rights. We will also review Governor Murphy's Executive Order 192, which applies to both the public and private sector.
WEC can pay participants $15 an hour to attend. See the details below.

WEC training will use a participatory web format to learn important information and enhance their problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Who should attend? Anyone who is an employer or employee in the state of NJ, worker representatives, Health & Safety Committee members, occupational safety and health professionals
How to qualify for the $15 an hour training stipend. You must own a business, work or seeking work in the state of NJ, attend the full two hour training session and complete a survey at the end. You must also provide a valid mailing address. You can only be paid once for completing this training.
